So at first in life, I guess I wanted to be a writer.
Apparently they make moleskin notebooks for that. Moleskin notebooks are high quality notebooks.
Then, assuming I follow my current patterns, I might become a musician instead.
They make moleskin notebooks for that, too.
I guess stuff you learn for one hobby never really escapes you, eh?

Attention Shoplifters; This Will Not Work
As this article tells, switching barcodes on things will not work.
At first, it seems like it's a smart idea right off.
But then you realize the guy switched it out for a water bottle UPC. I mean, come on. A plasma TV for less than 5 bucks?
Just Order Water at Restaurants
As this article points out, it's cool and smart to just order water at restaurants.
I want it to go down on the record that I've been drinking water at restaurants for quite some time now.
I find that soda is just not worth the feeling that your teeth are unclean. Also, cold water is a lot more refreshing than soda could ever be.
Add to that that water is a lot healthier for you, and you've got it made.
So, just remember, just water.
What Really Gets Me
You know what gets me? You know what really gets me?
I'm just a number in someone's life.
Okay, so I've been on Digg stack today. It gives you the news stories on Digg and vaguely tells you who dugg them.
And you know? To someone else, I'm just one of those little tells. Just think, to someone, I'm just another number.
That's what really gets me.
Facebook; Massive Servers Powering It
So we've all been exposed to the wonder that is Facebook.
But who thinks about what powers Facebook? It takes a whole lot of computer to keep it running, this article says.
Man, it always impresses me to think about the sheer scale of things. Heck, even a terabyte impresses upon me. No matter how hard I've tried or how much stuff I've made, I still don't think I've ever used up a terabyte of data.
Maybe if you took just the originals of my comedy show, but still, even then, not nearly as much as you'd expect it.
But just think, someday they'll unveil the next one higher for sale. And that will be one heck of a day.
So thank you Facebook, with all your servers humming and purring. Thank you for the time on Facebook and for my awe of your scale.

Google "Connor Smith" Update
Well, it seems I have a new competitor for my name in google searches.
Apparently Tom Cruise has a son. And his name is Connor. And he's acting with Will Smith.
Thankfully, an episode of my show is just hanging on near the bottom of the front page. And with the recent... popularity of it, then I think we're cooking with some fire.
So, until next time, keep googling me.

Command to Dispatch; UK Resistance is Down
Says the mostly blank error page, "Service Unavailable."
Because apparently UK Resistance is a service.

Pushing Daisies - A Second Season?
This is something I'd been wondering about for a while now, and I now looking into it;
Will Pushing Daisies be getting a second season?
Well, according to rumor (The Pushing Daisies Wiki, which is totally not biased in any way) says there will be a second season.
That's pretty good, as it's a good show.

Over 600 Posts
While not exactly something to brag about, especially due to the influx of videos from my comedy show, it's still a milestone.

More Comedy Show Videos Coming
Well, not so much coming as they're already there. You can see them if you find them on Revver. I'm just waiting for one that I "screwed up on" to get published before I post them all on my blog.
So yeah, I haven't abandoned The Connor Smith FastQuick Comedy Show.

Flying Spaghetti Monster Statue Made
A statue of the flying spaghetti monster has been found outside of a courthouse, as of April 1st, 2008. But don't be fooled! This is legitimate. The flying spaghetti monster, if you don't already know, is an alternative god for alternative people. He's kinda like the Christian's god, but less pretentious and also made out of spaghetti. The person who made the statue made it because he wanted to celebrate free speech. Truly there is no better celebration of free speech than a giant flying spaghetti monster statue.
On one hand, this courthouse might not like this... addition. On the other hand, they already have other statues around that also use free speech. The real issue is whether or not fundamental Christians will blow their lid at this. A little more background; the flying spaghetti monster was created to allegedly mock Christianity. So, it's not entirely unlikely that Christians may be offended. But hey, at least it's a celebration of free speech.
Personally, I've been a fan of pastafarianism and the flying spaghetti monster. So I cannot help but believe this is the right thing to do. Additionally, if people can make memorials and statues of other religious figures, then why not FSM? But then I also would like it if Christians did not blow their lid over this. Hopefully everyone can take it for what it is; a statue of a giant flying spaghetti monster.
