Conversation With A Spambot

I'm actually curious if you bothered removing your ID using that site. I'm pretty sure it'll just get my ID on even more spambot lists. I get IM's from that spambot at least once a day. I end up having amusing conversations with myself...that usually transition into me swearing repeatedly at the spambot until my fingers get tired.
I'm moreso wondering how to get them to stop bugging me without setting up 'allow friends only' on my IM program.
I wouldn't really need to get my ID removed. The spambots can only get me through Yahoo, and all my friends have since stopped using it. So if it bothered me enough, I could just stop logging on to my Yahoo account.
If you use AIM and don't want spambots, I'd reccomend finding a client that doesn't do offline AIM messages. I know Trillian just notifies you about receiving the messages but doesn't tell you their content. I also know Digsby does deliver offline messages.
Heh, unfortunately I'm still actively using both AIM and Yahoo accounts for different groups of friends. And, while trillian does only notify me of the message, it certainly doesn't stop them when the spambots manage to catch me online.
I think I might just stick to talking to the spambots until I get bored. Maybe write a program to overload their bot computers...
