So, I left off with the rest of the season to go. Well, here's how we did. We got promoted, that's for sure. We kept our spot at the top of the ladder. Yeah, take that. Of course, the second place team also got promoted, so we had someone to compete with. They were one of the only familiar teams in the second division.

This was the last time I simulated a significant amount of time since. Why? Apparently we lost Adam Tann over the off season. Now, he was our rock to the defense. We really could have used him. Now, in the end, it all turned out okay, as we got a replacement. Apparently good defenders are a dime a dozen. But still, it put me off of simulating for quite some time.

Oh, Stirling. Now, East Stirlingshire and Stirling sound like they come from the same place. And they must, because they have a sort of rivalry. In most of our meetings, we were billed as the supreme underdogs. We were consistently kicking their ass through the season. I would get messages from my chairman saying he thought it was awesome that we owned them. That's a prelude to...

Our performances in the second division. For a very brief moment of time, we were number one. That's right, we were almost promoted. Then we started losing some games. We found ourselves in a mid table position. Around 4-5th. (Out of 10) Then near the end of the season, we rallied to win fourth. We were set for the promotion playoffs.

Now for the brief segment about our cup games. We were knocked out of two cups very early on, so there was no winning those. But there was one cup left, and we kicked butt. Our final match was against a premier league team. No, not just any; the premier league team. And we did okay against them. They won, but they had to fight for it! Man, even the pundits were surprised. Even better, we got $110k for our cup performances. Now that was awesome. And on another note, Hearts (The team we played) went on to win the thing. So we definitely left it to the right people.

Of course, there was no way we could have been 1st in our division. Ross Country earned that honor, and they were pretty good. We beat them once. Actually, twice, but I'll get back to that. Either way, they had quite the pile of points for them. It would have been harder than heck to beat them. So we didn't. We just earned our place in fourth. Then, with the last two games approaching and our scores being so close to the others, we were able to make it to third place. I have to mention that our last game was against Ross Country. Yes, they were good. And we won! It actually meant nothing, but it was a nice note to end our season with.

Well, not actually. There still were playoffs. So, we played against one of the better teams. It was tough. I forgot how it went, but at the end we lost. It's okay; we'll just get promoted next season. No need to be quite so ambitious.

So, that's how the season went. Stand by for the next one.
